Why I created these Workshops

'Forms' and 'patterns' are invaluable tools in my practice - helping to shape and support the clay as I'm working.
​
​My hope is that by providing these workshops, together with the ribs (with which to make the forms) and the patterns (with which to cut the clay slab to the correct size) you can begin the journey of developing and improving your hand building skills and create a range of objects with interesting shapes and surfaces.

Each Workshop has two parts

Part 1

• Learn how to make a solid clay 'form' (on either an electric or a banding wheel.)

Part 2

• Learn how to use the 'form' to make a cup.

Also Included are

• Rib tool/s designed by Clare Unger with which to make the 'forms'.
• A custom paper pattern that fits the 'form/s'. ​ ​
• Comprehensive reference notes that can be downloaded.

There are 3 workshop options available. All the workshops are pre-recorded and will be available for 6 months after purchase.
